The integrated mechanics are both fast and reconfigurable, allowing the system engineer to create genuine J-shaped or spiral arrays.
The top model shows a typical RCF line array hang with the angles set and splayed in 2-degree resolution. On the other hand, competitors' models are already pre-configured with constant curvature fixed angles, with no opportunity to optimise the system to the venue’s characteristics.
In this class, competitors' pre-configured line arrays referred to will typically be restricted to four or five elements, whereas the RCF solution can handle up to 16 modules, variably configurable, to produce a genuine J-shaped array.
Thanks to its large format compression driver on a waveguide, the HDL 20-A offers superior intelligibility over distance.

The heavy duty front grille is power coated. A special transparent-to-sound foam backing on the inside of the grille helps to further protect the transducers from dust.
