Free Event designed and produced two exclusive Gala Dinners at Quintessentially – AZIMUT WinWin Terrace, that took place during the 66th Venice Film Festival. and that saw the participation of many International movie stars such as Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendes that attended one of the events on the terrace made by Stella Events.
The Free Even’st production staff chose RCF TT+ Series for the amplification of the music selected by international DJ and producer Luca Cassani, and Matteo Strocchi, as well as the main sound reinforcement for the live events, including a concert by Israeli singer Sagi Rei.
TT08-A and TTS12-A subwoofers were used in the main dining area to deliver a uniform sound coverage creating the right atmosphere during the dinners and cocktails. In the entertainment area a system composed by 2-way loudspeakers TT22-A and TTS18-A subwoofers was installed as well as TT25-SMA for stage monitoring.
“We have a long time partnership with RCF” commented Andrea Camporesi and Fabio Sartoni, founders of Free Event. “We have already used their audio systems in a lot of high level events such as the after show parties for the tours of Laura Pausini, Zucchero, Vasco Rossi, Ligabue and Claudio Baglioni and we always achieved the best possible result in terms of sonic quality and definition. Even for this important event the result was excellent and sound quality was one of the main characteristics that contributed to the creation of such an elegant atmosphere.”

Trescore’s Music Festival is one of summer’s biggest event in the city of Bergamo, in the north of Italy.
The event attracted tens of thousands of people who gathered to attend the shows at this year’s festival, which cast included some of the best bands in the Italian alternative rock scene including, Afterhours, J-Ax, Calibro 35, Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and Ministri.
Rental Company Airone S.r.l. chose RCF TT+ Series as the main PA system. TTL33-A Line Arrays coupled with TTS28-A Subwoofers were used for the sound reinforcement while TT25-SMA stage monitors were deployed on stage.
“The thing that impressed us the most was the incredible sound definition and the versatility of the system. In fact every night we had to amplify a very different kind of music and the system worked out just perfectly”. Commented Valeria Barbini, Airone FOH Engineer. “ TT+ has all the characteristics that a system needs to handle every situation and we were able to obtain a true linear dispersion up to 60 metres from the stage, which was our objective. Therefore we did not have any feedback problem on stage.”

MQ 100L (available in black and white) is a 3 way column loudspeaker providing natural hi-fidelity sound of both speech and music, suitable for sound system having fixed loudspeakers.
The wide horizontal coverage angle (180°) and the vertical dispersion (60°) allow the correct sound reproduction in a wide space, in order to limit feedback and improve the sound directivity which is important, for instance, in halls having a long reverberation time.
The mounting accessories are included. These have been engineered to keep the column as close as possible to the wall and simplify the installation. Its tilt angle can be chosen among 0° – 5° – 10°. The 60° vertical dispersion is asymmetric: it is the difference between 20° upwards and 40° downwards. The vertical dispersion axis is in fact already angled 10° downwards, making it unnecessary to tilt the sound column excessively.
MAIN APPLICATIONS • Foreground / Background Music • Distributed Speech Reinforcement • AV Production / Playback • Pubs and Restaurants • Shopping malls
CERTIFICATIONS AND APPROVALS • CE comply with European Community Directive 73/23/EEC and 93768/EEC • Self-Extinguishing plastic according to UL 94V0 • Speaker data according to IEC 268-5 • Safety according to IEC EN 60065:2002
ACCESSORIES (included) • Mounting Kit • Steel Grill

The RCF’s distributor in Greece, Kariotis Audio & Lighting have recently undertaken a large sound installation at the prestigious Balux sea club in Athens.
Mr. Kariotis Pandelis explains “ The brief was quite specific regarding the design and installation of the venue. The philosophy is designed around the idea for an audio system that could cover the different parts of the complex, thus eliminating any possible sound pollution from the other areas bordering on the Balux Club in order to deliver a clean and defined sound. Using RCF ART speakers, Kariotis Meletios and Partners designed a “surround sound” system, in which a lot of the speaker sources are placed to cover the different parts of the club eliminating the interference from the other areas. To achieve this we used a combination of RCF ART 312’s and RCF C3110’s and S8018 subwoofers”.
The finished installation comprised a large number of ART 312 two way speakers installed outdoors, while for the interior of the club RCFACUSTICA C3110’s and S8018 subwoofers have been used.

On Sunday 21 of June, Pope Benedict XVI made a special visit in San Giovanni Rotondo, in southern Italy to pray in the Sanctuary of Saint Pio da Pietralcina. The Pope celebrated Mass and recited the Angelus in the Churchyard of San Pio da Pietralcina , where more than 50,000 worshippers gathered from all over the world. RCF’s TT+ Touring and Theatre system had been chosen to amplify the sound for the event.
Local rental company Sonika, which had organised the technical aspects of the celebrations and had also looked after many such events in past years, choose again to use the TT+ Series from RCF for this very important day. Apart from giving vast coverage, the system had to be flexible enough to amplify both the speech and the music, which was played by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Niccolò Piccinini Conservatoire in Bari.
Mr. Raffaele Coletta, owner of Sonika, commented: “Having previously worked with TT+ in a great variety of situations, I was confident of the results. The output and the coverage were excellent which allowed perfect intelligibility of the speech and an accurate and precise reproduction of the richness of the orchestra”.
