The Leipzig Stadtbad, a public swimming baths in German city Leipzig, looks back on an eventful history. Inaugurated in 1916 as a public bath many people splashed here until 2004 when operation was stopped, and since then a public foundation has been trying to preserve the building. Parts of the bath are a venue for events. Because of this, the men’s swimming hall was completely built over and Leipzig event planner Exklusiv Events Leipzig took over the supervision of the events in the Leipzig Stadtbad. To make the venue more professional, the company also invested in the sound system and recently installed an active HDL 30-A line array. Previously, only temporary systems were used, with delivery and transport in the building always being complicated because of structural constriction.

Henrik Dantz, Managing Director of Exklusiv Events Leipzig, about the location and the technology: “There are many things to consider when working in such a historic building. Introducing new technology is always difficult. With the truss construction, we have found a good way of permanently installing technology in the hall - which also applies to the RCF sound system. This saves an enormous amount of time at each individual event. Of course, the sound is excellent, as is always the case with systems maintained by Colito.”
The Elbenwald Festival in Germany is a unique event. It combines the best from the world of conventions and festivals and is a meeting point for film fanatics, fantasy enthusiasts, gamers and music fans. For the time being, the Elbenwald Festival 2019 took place for the last time in the Event Park Luhmühlen before it moves to a new location next year.

To accurately convey an event with readings, meet & greets with stars, workshops, rock & pop concerts and symphony orchestras playing movie soundtracks, belongs undoubtedly to the more difficult tasks in the life of a technical service provider within the event industry.

German-based company PM Blue GmbH was responsible for the Elbenwald Festival and the A Summer's Tale Festival, which took place one week earlier at the same location, as a technical service provider for all matters relating to sound, light and video, and this in its sixth year. PM Blue relied on audio equipment from RCF throughout the event to cope with the challenging programme at the Elbenwald Festival.
Event Center, RCF’s Estonian distributor, recently hosted an RCF Clients Day, which was attended by around 60 people.

The event was held in the newly remodelled Kaja Cultural Center, close to Event Center’s HQ in Tallinn, and the presentation was supported by RCF Product Specialist (Audio Pro), Lucio Boiardi Serri. He, in turn, took visitors on a fascinating, in-depth journey through the manufacturer’s professional portfolio, and the potential applications.

Edison, Nueva Jersey, EE. UU.

Sometimes claimed to be the first Big Thing in Australia, the Big Banana tourist complex is one of the main attraction of the New South Wales area - set amongst a banana plantation. Any Entertainment is a Coffs Harbour based production company specializing in touring, events and installation. The largest production company in the area, Any Entertainment makes use of a versatile RCF HDL 20-A setup, to meet their client’s needs across live music and corporate events audio.

The adaptability of the RCF’s medium-format array series has made it an industry-standard in mid-to-large productions, championed by its excellent sonic quality, high SPL and tunable directivity. The HDL 20-A unit is a highly efficient 700W (RMS) powered line array mid-high module, featuring 2 x 10” woofers, 1 x 3” and delivering a staggering 135dB max SPL.

Any Entertainment’s Production Manager, Nathan Holding, says since the company invested in the system, they have been very pleased with the results. The company makes use of 12 x HDL 20-A, 4 x SUB 8006-A dual 18” subwoofers and 4 x SUB 8004-A single 18” subwoofers; often servicing indoor concerts or outdoor festivals with 1000+ people. “With the HDL modules, there’s always enough power, no matter the gig; in fact, I don’t think we’ve ever seen the protection limiter LED trigger. We recently had the system setup for Australian electronic duo ‘Peking Duk’ in front of two thousand people, and whilst we did add two extra 8006-A subs, we found the system still had plenty of headroom to spare.”
