Digital processing The integrated digital processor is based on a state of the art 24 bit, floating point DSP running at 96 KHz sampling rate. The calculation capacity largely exceed the processing needs and the DSP is never pushed to the limit. Crossover and equalization of the 6 transducers, limiter, system presets: high pass, air absorption and cluster size corrections.
Digital power The TTL33-A is powered by a 750 watt switching power supply and 3 digital amplifiers: 500 watt mid-bass , 500 watt midrange and 250 watt compression driver. Very high output, extremely low distortion and natural sound . All the amplifiers and digital processing are housed in an aluminum extrusion external to the cabinet for best heat dissipation.
Compression drivers A new compression driver unit has been developed in RCF specifically for array applications. The best ratio between the size of the diaphragm and the overall diameter and the very small total size makes the ND1411-MT a unique driver for application in line on straight horns. TTL33-A houses 3 of them for perfect HF control.
Controlled mid-bass Two light and reliable neodymium 8”, in a band pass loading configuration, provides a tight and loud mid-bass. Thanks to a careful acoustic design the sensitivity in the 100 Hz region is almost double than typical, same size, designs.
High output midrange A fast and accurate horn loaded 8” takes care of the midrange frequencies. Powerful neodymium magnet, aluminum die cast basket, aluminum back can in direct contact to the rear plate for best heat dissipation.
Reliable mechanics Laser cut high quality steel bars and precision machining for an easy to use and reliable mechanics. Thanks to the very light weight of the cabinet building the cluster is very simple, fast and effortless.
RCF Prediction Software In order to assist with the set up procedures for the TTL33-A Line Array System, RCF has developed a complete prediction software package. The software enables a complete two dimensional simulation of the behaviour of the TTL33-A cabinets and also suggests the correct subwoofer combinations. The system curvature angles and the sound projection data are computed with maximum sound pressure levels for the given building design originally inputted. The software will allow simulations up to a maximum of sixteen TTL33-A mid-high cabinets. There is also a rigging menu which provides data for weight, centre of gravity and height of the array configuration. Rigging points and rigging hardware configurations are also computed.  
The height of the voice coil has been specifically designed to improve the excursion and linearity at very low frequencies.
The LF21N451 uses a special RCF developed carbon fibre + nylon + cellulose composite pulp which reinforces and improves the rigidity of the cone structure. The new pulp and the large triple roll surround along double silicon spider system ensure excellent control and makes the cone resistant to deformation caused by very large displacements and pressure created by the transducer’s high excursion behaviour.
A fully optimised T-pole design generate the minimum amount of flux modulation. The dual-forced air venting system provides a very efficient voice coil ventilation to minimize the power compression.
The LF21N451 is ideal in applications where light weight, very high BL and power handling are required. It is especially used for touring, perfect for powerful lows in horn loaded sub bass system or reflex designs.
The P6215 is a weatherproof full range, wide-dispersion, coaxial two way loudspeaker system offering substantial power and efficiency for a variety of professional indoor or outdoor applications.
The high-frequency section is a constant directivity CMD horn loaded to a 1.4” RCF Precision Neodymium compression driver with a 2.5” diaphragm assembly for smooth, wide dispersion. The low-frequency transducer is a 15” woofer with a 3.5” voice coil. The P6215 is a dedicated high power version for very high output and longer throw applications. The cabinet is a single piece rotational moulded in medium density polyethylene, fully UV protected.The cabinet is equipped with 12 x M 10 brass inserts, a stainless steel U-Bracket and pair of spacers for 90° mounting. The front logo is in aluminium and rotatable. The grille is in custom perforated aluminium with open-cell fibres and water repellent woven fabric backing.
RCF presents the innovative RCF DXT 7000, a Digital Matrix sound system suitable for many different purposes, such as evacuation, paging and background music. Typical targets are municipal halls, schools, shopping centres, hospitals, railway stations, hotels, etc. The system has been designed to fulfil all requirements of EN 60849 standard.
The main unit of the DXT 7000 system is the MU 7100, a Digital Matrix 7 x 8 designed for several applications including audio, zone paging, room combining and much more. Thanks to digital technology and powerful DSP, the MU 7100 is equipped with 5-Band Parametric EQ, High and Low Pass Filters, Level control, Delay circuit for line array speaker applications and Compressor / limiter. It has a built-in WAV file message player (up to128 messages) and digital routing to any output channel. The whole signal path from fireman's microphone to loudspeaker lines is completely and automatically monitored against faults. The 8 digital internal amplifiers are very reliable and their efficiency is excellent (> 90%), that means less heat dissipation and smaller capacity requirement for unbreakable power supply sources (UPS) used in sound evacuation systems. Standard speaker line distribution is rated for 100V applications, 50V or 70V speaker line distribution can also be selected by an easily performed internal wiring change. The MU 7100 has 7 balanced analogue audio inputs for external program sources and each input has a (tool adjustable) gain control that allows the connection of either a microphone or line level program source.
Despite it's high technology features the MU 7100 is also easy to configure and operate thanks to its plug & play architecture.
The DXT 7000 system is completed by the LT 7208 - 8 transformers unit, BM7802 - paging control unit, the BM7806 - paging control unit with alarm buttons, the BM7801 FM - fireman's evacuation unit, the SV7982 - program source/remote level control device and the LI 7903 - input/control device

Oktava, RCF’s distributor in Croatia, working closely with RCF’s Systems Engineering Department, have designed and installed a complete new audio system for the Zadar sports arena. The system was specially conceived to be extremely compact and controls and distributes audio in every part of the arena. RCF TT+ loudspeakers were chosen for the playing and the seating areas because of their high power and sound definition. TT25-A loudspeakers were installed on the round structure above the parterre, amplifying the sound towards the seats while TT22-A models were used for the playing area. An MX1822 mixer manages the audio signals sent to the loudspeakers.
RCF PL60 Ceiling speakers have been installed in all the other areas – locker rooms, corridors, pressroom, restaurant and VIP room – using the A1360 mounting hardware. On the external parts of the building and near the main doors DM61 compact two-way speakers proved to be the best solution thanks to their IP55 protection grade, which makes them the ideal solution for outdoor installations. All the installation is controlled by a DXT7000 a digital multi channel active matrix system, composed by MU7100 master units connected to LT7208 units with transformers and constant voltage outputs. In the control room a single paging/alarm BM7806 console has been installed, while a number of SV7982 Remote Program/Leven Control Devices and LI7903 Remote Input and Control Devices have been distributed in the other areas of the building. One of the DXT7000 system exits has been dedicated to the audio system of the playing area with priority for particular announces or alarm messages. Usually this part of the building is served by a local system set at low priority for the communications of the speaker as team hymns, team line up, music, advertising and standard announces.
Daniele Torelli, RCF Audio System Specialist, commented:” we are very happy for the result of this installation and for the cooperation with Oktava. Being almost “invisible” in their location in the rounded bridge over the playground the TT+ speakers provide a complete high quality audio coverage of the entire main arena. In the other areas” he continued, ”thanks to the DXT 7000 System we were able to contain the control units and the amplifiers in a small rack space allowing a simple and quick set up of the system”.
The RCF Forum 6000 System has been designed to manage conference, debates, president desks in auditoriums/conventions and meetings, offering outstanding versatility. The system is simple and quick to wire, to set-up and to use. It is possible to connect to the main system unit up to 60 microphone set on two different lines. Several operational modes can be chosen through the LCD display and simple menus. For more advanced use a complete setup menu adds flexibility to the system allowing you to personalize several parameters. Thanks to the expansion kit it is possible to connect up to 120 additional consoles on four connection lines. Forum 6000 system is designed according to IEC 60914 standard.
RCF have recently completed the installation of the audio system for the Turin airport.
Thanks to 500 weekly flights and more than 3.5 million of passengers every year, the airport represents the major hub for the International and National connections of the North-East of Italy.
The modern air terminal, which extends for more than 57 thousands square metres and has three working floors, required a complex audio system able to satisfy the high security standards of such a vast and crowded space.
The system delivered by RCF is the RX 4000 which can hold all security and evacuation messages following the EN 60849 norm and it is also BS 5893-8 complying, which represent the highest European standards regarding security and evacuation matters. The speakers models installed are: PL60, DP 1420BS, BD 2412BS and ART installation models ART 300 i.
Apart from managing a great number of paging zones, one of the major benefits of the RX 4000 system is its advanced simulation software, which allows it to configure the system before the installation. Thanks to this crucial feature it is possible to test and verify every possible emergency scenario, delivering an extremely accurate control and security system over the evacuation strategies.
An audience of 40.000 people acclaimed the most famous artists of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), during the Festival Concerte, one of the most significant cultural events in the Country.
Thanks to the great cast and audience, the 2008 edition has been a very special one and all the sound reinforcement system for the show was composed by RCF products.
