Thanks to the building association of the same name, the name "Schwäbisch Hall" has reserved a permanent place in the collective memory in Germany. That there is also a self-proclaimed "up-and-coming cultural” city behind it is demonstrated by its strong cultural orientation.

One "brick" of this orientation is also the "Dolan Beats" electronic music festival. The festival grew from a small open-air party to 5,000 visitors, and headliners such as Felix Kröcher and Ostblockschlampen ensured a correspondingly positive response from the party-seeeking audience in 2019.

From the very beginning Livito Eventtechnik was responsible for the technical implementation of the event. "We used Loudspeakers from RCF as a sound reinforcement solution already last year. This year we have experienced much more popularity, and therefore the sound system has been increased accordingly", says Andreas Schnepf, GF of Livito Eventtechnik.
RCF’s Spanish partner Sonort recently specified HDL 30-A on the main EDM stage at the BBK Live Festival, close to their headquarters in Bilbao—part of an all RCF package.

Promoted by Last Tour International, the open-air event in the Basque region takes place at Kobetamendi, located in the spectacular Mount Kobetas, Bilbao's largest park on a 110,000 square meters area.

The previous three years have seen Sonort operating in a sub-contracted role but this year they provided the complete technical infrastructure for the three EDM stages: Basoa (holding 7,000), Lasai (cap 2,000) and Akelarre (cap 1,000). All were equipped with RCF.
It was with a vision of innovation and uniqueness that husband and wife team of Komal and Shailendra Lalwani, opened Zarza to offer an exquisite dining and clubbing experience to the folks of India’s Pink City (Jaipur). Sitting atop Dreamax Plaza, Zarza offers panoramic view of the city. The al-fresco multi-deck dining experience, with full bar, is the first in the state, while the two-layered night club, spread across 1350 sq ft, has a blend of seating and dance floor.

“Jaipur is an exotic destination for globetrotters and partygoers,” says Shailendra. “People from across the world visit Jaipur for its historical significance and they love to party hard when the sun goes down,”. He continues, “Zarza provides a whole new experience for the guests and to ensure the best sound system, we commissioned an RCF line array, which was supplied and installed by Hi-Tech Audio Systems of New Delhi. RCF immediately showed its potential at the launch party where Raghu Dixit headlined.”

Shaliendra himself was involved at every stage of the project. “Hi-Tech Audio Systems advised us in selecting the best sound for our club,” he said, while praising the technical help provided by Kallol Nath, System Application Engineer of Hi-Tech Audio Systems and his team.

Kallol Nath added his own comments. “For me it’s been an overwhelming experience to work on this plush project. We have taken the client’s brief and concluded that the RCF HDL 20-A [line array] was the most suitable for Zarza.” The venue is installed with hangs consisting of three elements per side, two RCF V218-S subwoofers an RCF QPS 9600 4-channel power amp and a BSS BLU 100 DSP processor. “The much needed punch of the sound is achieved without any pinching, unwanted frequencies or excess volume at the venue,” he confirms.

Along with the technical team, Hi-Tech Audio Systems’ sales team were also involved closely from day one of the project. Nirdosh Aggarwal, Director Sales of Hi-Tech Audio Systems, shares his experience. “Music is an important part of the concept of Zarza and therefore it was extremely important to have a sound system that worked perfectly in the early evening hours, when music should be more in the background, and later to be played at a higher level.” Akshay Rajput, Sales Manager of Hi-Tech Audio System, further adds, “We understand that guests like to be able to talk with their friends as well as party, and as there are different zones spread across the venue, our technical team has cleverly placed the speakers to ensure an even sound flow. RCF is the best choice, both functionally and economically.”
Night Fever is one of the most successful and authentic BEE GEES tribute shows worldwide. Like hardly any other group, the three professional musicians from Germany know how to bring the music of the legendary BEE GEES to the stage. As part of their extensive tour, the band made a stop on the Seebühne, a nicely set open-air stage, at Elbauenpark in Magdeburg (Germany). To stage the show acoustically perfect, event professional DALTERIO Eventtechnik trusted in the HDL 30-A system from RCF. The HDL 30-A of Italian traditional manufacturer RCF, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, is the compact active 2-way line array system for medium to large events – a perfect choice for the Seebühne in Magdeburg.
One night a year, from sunset to sunrise, a large part of the Italian Adriatic Riviera turns into an explosion of lights, sounds, images, and colors with concerts, theatrical performances, installations, exhibitions, and magical settings. The "Summer’s New Year's Eve" is the way it is defined by many locals.
Haus Leipzig, located in Leipzig, Germany, is an event hall with a long tradition. The building has been in operation as an event venue since 1946. Renovated and managed by a new operator, over 180 events are held each year. Together with the technical service provider colito productions, they recently upgraded the audio system and now rely on the active line array system HDL 30-A from RCF.

Haus Leipzig is characterised by a wide range of different events. The programme includes comedy, cabaret, live music, shows and balls as well as conferences and product presentations. A bandwidth that demands great flexibility from the PA system. Just one reason to choose the HDL 30-A system.
Looking to establish a new AV distribution company, and apply their collective knowledge of the local market requirement to a well-known audio brand, Anil Kumar and his team at Dubai-based AVenger Electronics approached RCF.

“Since RCF had the entire range of professional audio products in its portfolio, catering for the installation, touring, MI and Evacuation segments, we considered them as our preferred choice for servicing the markets in the UAE and Oman,” stated AVenger sales manager, Joseph Ninel Rebero. “This would range from small portable PA to large stadium installations.”

The company had also done its homework and recognised RCF’s existing high brand value in the region. “We knew it was well established in both the touring and MI market.”

As brand manager, and with extensive knowledge of RCF (through his time with previous distributors) Mr. Rebero will lead a team that will be focused on brand promotion throughout the UAE and Oman. “Our mission will be to focus more on the integration market to bring RCF up to the next level in this segment,” he says, forecasting that initial impact is likely to be created through the Live & Pro Series as well as the new business music solution products, due for release imminently.

AVenger Electronics have also set a vigorous marketing campaign, favouring roadshows and seminars over trade shows in the Middle East. “In this way we can give more interaction and product awareness with industry professionals.” They will also exploit opportunities via direct marketing, social media, newsletters and displays through dealer networks, as well as onsite demos, training and consultant visits.

Added Luca Ombrati, RCF Sales Manager Europe & Middle East, “Having known Joseph Ninel Rebero for some time, when he informed me about the new company he was about to co-found with other experienced people in the industry—people who already had deep knowledge of RCF, its products and philosophy—their appointment was a no brainer.

“AVenger Electronics’ decision to keep RCF as the unique and exclusive audio brand in its portfolio, in view of its very broad product offering, further confirmed our impression that they were best suited to our needs.”
The Estonian Song Festival, one of the largest choral events in the world, has also gained international recognition as being one of the most peaceful acts of protest to gain independence in 1991. Taking place every five years in the Tallinn Festival Grounds, the four-day event coincides with the Estonian Dance Festival, in a tradition dating back to 1869 (making this year its 150th).

Part of the ritual is the Relay of the Flame, which kicks off the celebration. The flame started its journey at the beginning of June and moved around the country, finally arriving in Tallinn for the Song Festival where it was received by the mayor of Tallinn. It then travelled to the Song Festival Grounds where it burnt for the whole event in the Festival Tower.

It was for the arrival of the Song Festival Flame that Event Center, RCF’s Estonian distributor equipped the stage with eight of the popular HDL 30-A line array (four elements on each side), underpinned by a pair of RCF SUB 8006-AS subwoofers, one under each line array hang. This provided coverage for crowds of up to 300.

A further two RCF HD 12-A Mk4 speakers on tripods provided stage monitoring for the performers, which included a choir and guest speakers (including a speech by the mayor).

According to Event Center marketing manager, Taavi Kasemägi, the tradition of the Relay of the Flame dates back to 1969 and was thus celebrating its 50th anniversary. “The journey started on June 1 in Tartu and after the celebration in Raekoja plats, Tallinn—the event for which we provided sound—it moved to Kalevi stadium, where the flame for the Dance Festival was lit; it then moved to the Song Festival Grounds the next day.”

As for the successful RCF deployment, he added, “The client’s feedback was that they were delighted with the sound. Our own project manager also said the sound had been excellent in terms of all speech and choir reinforcement. The HDL 30-A was a perfect setup for the occasion.”

The flame moved through 33 parishes (from the total of 64 and made up 4000km journey), where in each parish it spent maximum of three days.
Situated in Novi Sad’s new Promenada Shopping Mall, Loft Coffee & Food Bar is the fourth in the successful Serbian chain, having built its reputation on a carefully designed offering, great location and innovative interior. To that can be added a top-quality RCF sound system.

The Loft Rooftop, as the latest operation is known, makes an immediate impression, with its striking interior complemented by unobtrusive but ever-present background music.

The sound is provided by a number of loudspeakers from the RCF Media series, supplied by Serbian distributor, AVL Projekt. Specifically it uses the RCF M601 and RCF DPS 604X 4-channel Class D amplification. Signal source is a computer, connected to the system via a Radial USB PRO sound card, with an additional RCF S5012 passive subwoofer providing low-frequency extension.

Further RCF equipment for providing sound in the garden has also been earmarked and will be installed after the siting of the pergola in the open space outside. For this purpose RCF’s IP55 weather-resistant MQ 80P-B speakers are an appropriate choice for outdoor installation.

However, the installation team faced several challenges during the fit-out. As is often the case, the installation of the sound system had to be completed to a short deadline due to the opening of the Mall itself. But with good organisation, and commitment from their colleagues in the field, AVL Projekt successfully met this challenge.
