Festival des Bières du Monde de Saguenay is an annual beer festival that takes place in Quebec, Canada. Now celebrating its 11th year, Sound Distribution (2018), RCF’s territorial distributor, supported the event with a major RCF line array for the first time.

The event itself takes place on the Grand Stage at Chicoutimi, an outdoor gated amphitheatre-style venue situated in the picturesque harbour area, with between 8,000-12,000 people attending.

Sometimes claimed to be the first Big Thing in Australia, the Big Banana tourist complex is one of the main attraction of the New South Wales area - set amongst a banana plantation. Any Entertainment is a Coffs Harbour based production company specializing in touring, events and installation. The largest production company in the area, Any Entertainment makes use of a versatile RCF HDL 20-A setup, to meet their client’s needs across live music and corporate events audio.

The adaptability of the RCF’s medium-format array series has made it an industry-standard in mid-to-large productions, championed by its excellent sonic quality, high SPL and tunable directivity. The HDL 20-A unit is a highly efficient 700W (RMS) powered line array mid-high module, featuring 2 x 10” woofers, 1 x 3” and delivering a staggering 135dB max SPL.

Any Entertainment’s Production Manager, Nathan Holding, says since the company invested in the system, they have been very pleased with the results. The company makes use of 12 x HDL 20-A, 4 x SUB 8006-A dual 18” subwoofers and 4 x SUB 8004-A single 18” subwoofers; often servicing indoor concerts or outdoor festivals with 1000+ people. “With the HDL modules, there’s always enough power, no matter the gig; in fact, I don’t think we’ve ever seen the protection limiter LED trigger. We recently had the system setup for Australian electronic duo ‘Peking Duk’ in front of two thousand people, and whilst we did add two extra 8006-A subs, we found the system still had plenty of headroom to spare.”
The eleventh edition of Bergheim’s city festival “Summer in the City” was once again full of music. In front of six stages, spread all over the city, thousands of music enthusiasts could enjoy the free music performed by bands of all conceivable styles. Following the motto “1 evening - 6 stages” the festival transforms the city into the biggest stage in the area. New this year, the audience could vote for the bands, which can then perform on the audience stage. RCF was present to sound out the complete festival on all stages spreading the whole city. Using the new TTL 4-A system for the first time, even a German premiere was part of the party, taking place all over the city.

As a tradition, Summer in the city’s main attraction and the largest stage was the Center Stage. TSL Production used 16x HDL 30-A modules as main PA, 12x SUB 9006-AS for the lower end, 2x TT 22-A as nearfield monitors, 6x TT 25-SMA and 1x TTS 15-A as sub-monitor. Further stages in the city area were the World Music Stage with 2x TTL 6-A and 2x SUB 8006-AS as well as 4x NX 12-SMA. The New Vibes Stage was equipped with 2x TTL4-A, 4x SUB 9004-AS and 6x NX 12-SMA. On the Your Voice BM Stage 6x HDL 26-A, 4x SUB 9004-AS and 2x TT 22-A were used as monitor wedges. The unplugged stage was equipped with 2x TT 10-A, 2x TTS 15-A and 2x TT 22-A as monitor wedges.
Edison, New Jersey—RCF USA, provider of high-end live sound products and technology, announces that Gulf South Productions (GSP), will be a key customer and production services partner in the southeastern United States.

Located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, GSP was first established on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1999, providing large-scale, full-service sound reinforcement, lighting design, rigging, staging, and video services for major cities including Memphis, Jackson, Atlanta and New Orleans. In August 2019, GSP converted their entire live sound inventory to RCF, a bold move which involved strategic decisions to accommodate RCF’s newly announced HDL 50-A 4K elements, as well as the highly efficient HDL 30-A and HDL 26-A line array systems into their inventory. To complete their systems, GSP chose the powerful SUB 9006-AS subwoofers for low end reinforcement across the board.
A palpable sense of anticipation rippled across RCF’s global network when the Italian company announced that its 70th anniversary would be marked with the enigmatically-named “A Night in Laguna” and that they were prepared to fly in guests from all points of the globe to share this landmark occasion. With the realisation that the Laguna was Venice’s famous enclosed bay on the Adriatic, and that the ultimate destination would be the Arsenale di Venezia (Venice Arsenal), the sense of expectation rose further.
Thanks to the building association of the same name, the name "Schwäbisch Hall" has reserved a permanent place in the collective memory in Germany. That there is also a self-proclaimed "up-and-coming cultural” city behind it is demonstrated by its strong cultural orientation.

One "brick" of this orientation is also the "Dolan Beats" electronic music festival. The festival grew from a small open-air party to 5,000 visitors, and headliners such as Felix Kröcher and Ostblockschlampen ensured a correspondingly positive response from the party-seeeking audience in 2019.

From the very beginning Livito Eventtechnik was responsible for the technical implementation of the event. "We used Loudspeakers from RCF as a sound reinforcement solution already last year. This year we have experienced much more popularity, and therefore the sound system has been increased accordingly", says Andreas Schnepf, GF of Livito Eventtechnik.
RCF’s Spanish partner Sonort recently specified HDL 30-A on the main EDM stage at the BBK Live Festival, close to their headquarters in Bilbao—part of an all RCF package.

Promoted by Last Tour International, the open-air event in the Basque region takes place at Kobetamendi, located in the spectacular Mount Kobetas, Bilbao's largest park on a 110,000 square meters area.

The previous three years have seen Sonort operating in a sub-contracted role but this year they provided the complete technical infrastructure for the three EDM stages: Basoa (holding 7,000), Lasai (cap 2,000) and Akelarre (cap 1,000). All were equipped with RCF.
It was with a vision of innovation and uniqueness that husband and wife team of Komal and Shailendra Lalwani, opened Zarza to offer an exquisite dining and clubbing experience to the folks of India’s Pink City (Jaipur). Sitting atop Dreamax Plaza, Zarza offers panoramic view of the city. The al-fresco multi-deck dining experience, with full bar, is the first in the state, while the two-layered night club, spread across 1350 sq ft, has a blend of seating and dance floor.

“Jaipur is an exotic destination for globetrotters and partygoers,” says Shailendra. “People from across the world visit Jaipur for its historical significance and they love to party hard when the sun goes down,”. He continues, “Zarza provides a whole new experience for the guests and to ensure the best sound system, we commissioned an RCF line array, which was supplied and installed by Hi-Tech Audio Systems of New Delhi. RCF immediately showed its potential at the launch party where Raghu Dixit headlined.”

Shaliendra himself was involved at every stage of the project. “Hi-Tech Audio Systems advised us in selecting the best sound for our club,” he said, while praising the technical help provided by Kallol Nath, System Application Engineer of Hi-Tech Audio Systems and his team.

Kallol Nath added his own comments. “For me it’s been an overwhelming experience to work on this plush project. We have taken the client’s brief and concluded that the RCF HDL 20-A [line array] was the most suitable for Zarza.” The venue is installed with hangs consisting of three elements per side, two RCF V218-S subwoofers an RCF QPS 9600 4-channel power amp and a BSS BLU 100 DSP processor. “The much needed punch of the sound is achieved without any pinching, unwanted frequencies or excess volume at the venue,” he confirms.

Along with the technical team, Hi-Tech Audio Systems’ sales team were also involved closely from day one of the project. Nirdosh Aggarwal, Director Sales of Hi-Tech Audio Systems, shares his experience. “Music is an important part of the concept of Zarza and therefore it was extremely important to have a sound system that worked perfectly in the early evening hours, when music should be more in the background, and later to be played at a higher level.” Akshay Rajput, Sales Manager of Hi-Tech Audio System, further adds, “We understand that guests like to be able to talk with their friends as well as party, and as there are different zones spread across the venue, our technical team has cleverly placed the speakers to ensure an even sound flow. RCF is the best choice, both functionally and economically.”
Night Fever is one of the most successful and authentic BEE GEES tribute shows worldwide. Like hardly any other group, the three professional musicians from Germany know how to bring the music of the legendary BEE GEES to the stage. As part of their extensive tour, the band made a stop on the Seebühne, a nicely set open-air stage, at Elbauenpark in Magdeburg (Germany). To stage the show acoustically perfect, event professional DALTERIO Eventtechnik trusted in the HDL 30-A system from RCF. The HDL 30-A of Italian traditional manufacturer RCF, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, is the compact active 2-way line array system for medium to large events – a perfect choice for the Seebühne in Magdeburg.
One night a year, from sunset to sunrise, a large part of the Italian Adriatic Riviera turns into an explosion of lights, sounds, images, and colors with concerts, theatrical performances, installations, exhibitions, and magical settings. The "Summer’s New Year's Eve" is the way it is defined by many locals.
