BE 5808 is an extension of the paging microphone BM 5804 which is part of the DXT 5000 digital system. The BE 5808 is equipped with 8 programmable buttons to extend the number of function available in the paging microphone. Up to 8 modules can support a console for a total of 64 added buttons to the ones found on the microphone base. These buttons can be used to select zones (when calling) and send pre-recorded messages, for ‘evacuation’ and ‘alert’ functions, for background music activation. Each button has 2 LEDs (one is green, the other is a bicolur yellow/red) to show the status of the buttons. Is is possible to add a label (with a description to its respective function) beside each button.
