SOUND SYSTEM MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SOFTWARE

RDNet brings network management, system monitoring, DSP control, line array design, and real-time audio analysis into a single platform for sound system engineers working with RCF and TT+ Audio systems. Compatible devices can be configured and monitored individually or in groups, with centralized access to DSP parameters, internal routing, and advanced subwoofer functions.
Designed for both live and installed applications, RDNet supports loudspeakers, digital matrices, and amplifiers through a consistent, intuitive workflow. Its integrated measurement suite and cloud-based storage for projects and measurements give touring and installation professionals the tools to design, tune, operate, and manage complete sound systems from one environment.

The latest release features a streamlined workflow for seamlessly grouping self- and externally-powered systems. Device discovery is optimized with quicker drag-and-drop functionality, making it easy to manage hybrid systems. For example, a configuration using both GTX and TTL loudspeakers. The improved user interface includes an advanced EQ visualization with amplitude/phase response plot and real-time FFT analysis. The redesigned cloud infrastructure allows projects and measurements to be saved remotely and recalled from any location.

The Toolbox for System Design and Optimization

RDNet displays all audio devices connected to the network as objects on the main window.  Optimized hot-plug discovery and quick drag-and-drop make it easy to add devices and create hybrid groups combining self- and externally-powered systems. The streamlined workflow delivers enhanced stability and performance, even in complex configurations.  The real-time monitoring features a multitude of parameters such as fan speed, temperature, the inclination of a single speaker, VU Meters, peak levels, and more. The operator has complete control of time delay and equalization of every speaker, individually or grouped. With its built-in DSP, each device is an active part of the system, able to store presets, receive commands, and continuously send status information. Comprehensive monitoring is standard in RDNet: VU metering, clip indicator, limiter intervention, device inclination, communication issues—down to the status of a single component or a transducer—and much more.

Take all Appropriate Measures

RDNet Measure is a powerful four-input, dual-channel FFT audio analyzer that measures magnitude, phase, RTA, coherence, and impulse response. Its tools include a delay finder, multiple signal generators, and an integrated SPL meter/logger with calibration tools. There’s no need for external software to get the job done.

Get the Most out of your System

RDNet lets engineers control devices in groups for easier supervision. Customizable array-group properties include Zones, Air Compensation, Cluster Size, and FiRPHASE Gain. When array groups are assigned to Zones, each Zone is color-coded for quick reference. Incremental Air Absorption Compensation helps maintain consistent performance as humidity or temperature changes. Low-mid shaping is calculated automatically according to cluster size, supporting a consistent frequency response across the entire array.

Advanced equalizers

RDNet takes direct control of the internal EQ and High-Pass filter on each cabinet. Available filter types include PEQ, High and Low Shelving, Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel, and All-Pass. RDNet Measure is integrated directly into the system EQ windows, combining real-time FFT analysis with magnitude and phase visualization. The Overall function previews the combined EQ response over phase and magnitude measurements and can be customized according to the selected filter types. Each Zone provides three fixed equalizers with gain control, while each Array Group offers global FiRPHASE Gain control for parallel adjustment of the Zone FIRs.

Straight-Forward Array Curvature Calculation and Auto-Spline

Easy Shape Designer, built into RDNet, provides two-dimensional array configuration calculations. It suggests LF corrections based on cluster size, temperature, and humidity, and calculates sound projection data, including maximum SPL for the selected design. It supports both self- and externally-powered arrays, including systems driven by XPS amplifiers. Integrated safety checks clearly flag low safety factors and invalid setup conditions before deployment.
  • Venue definition with multi-tiered levels.
  • Estimates optimum splay angles for single flown array and sound projection data.
  • Detailed information on system curvature and rigging points.
  • Calculation of the system total weight and safety factor.

From 3D Prediction to Deployment

RDShape complements RDNet with 3D venue modeling, acoustic prediction, system design, and mechanical validation for RCF and TT+ Audio loudspeaker systems. Its compatibility with RDNet creates a continuous workflow from virtual design to real-world system setup, measurement, and optimization.

Setup Assistant

The System Designer chooses the best way to configure the system: Offline for the remote designer, or Online for selecting Soundcheck or Concert modes, for a safer system control during the show. Guided subwoofer configurations help the engineer to set up subwoofer Cardioids, Arcs, or EndFire configurations in one pass.
The advanced Bass Shaper function fine-tunes the desired timbre on low frequencies to better match the spectrum overlap with subwoofers. Within a few easy steps, Bass Shaper corrects low-end behavior while maintaining tonal balance across the entire system.

Automatic Alignment

The time-saving [Automatic LF Alignment] and [Fill/Delay Align] functions integrated with RDNet Measure allow engineers to align large systems quickly and directly from measurements. The process is simple: after saving RDNet Impulse Response Measurements by group of speakers (Line Array, Subwoofer group, Cluster or Fill Speakers), the [Automatic LF Alignment] function automatically calculates and applies the best phase alignment of the sound system with the subwoofer group, while the  [Fill/Delay Align] provides the best temporal alignment between two groups of speakers.

Networked speaker control

RDNet controls and monitors compatible loudspeaker systems through Control2 or Control8 interfaces or directly over Ethernet via XPS amplifiers. Engineers can manage delay, EQ, presets, and system parameters for individual speakers or groups, with real-time status monitoring.

RDNet Over Ethernet

RDNet-OE extends system management over standard Ethernet. XPS amplifiers connect to existing network infrastructures without a separate Control2 or Control8 interface, allowing self- and externally-powered speakers to be grouped and managed in the same RDNet environment.

Easy Subwoofer Configuration

Guided subwoofer configurations help the engineer to set up subwoofer Cardioids, Arcs, or EndFire configurations in one pass, while the Bass Shaper fine-tunes the desired timbre on low frequencies. With three sliders and a few steps, it’s easy to correct low-end behavior while maintaining tonal balance across the entire system.

Travel Light on Clouds

You don’t need to carry your own computer to access your RDNet projects and measurements. Sign in to your RDNet account from another computer to recall your files from the cloud and continue your work. Once your files are available locally, RDNet can operate offline, with an Internet connection required only for authentication, cloud-based services, or updates.
