Bass Motion Control

Effettuando ricerche sul miglioramento delle prestazioni alle basse frequenze, gli ingegneri RCF hanno rimosso il filtro passa-alto, sostituendolo con un approccio inedito. Il BMC (Bass Motion Control) è una soluzione innovativa per la gestione delle escursioni del woofer. Il diffusore dotato di BMC è in grado di gestire le frequenze più basse udibili senza influire sulla stabilità del trasduttore, fornendo così una linearità estesa e una migliore integrità sonora.

Il metodo BMC agisce creando una mappa completa del comportamento dinamico del woofer per generare un algoritmo personalizzato che limita solo le sovra-escursioni. Questo fornisce al trasduttore una totale libertà di riproduzione del segnale. Di norma, i filtri passa-alto proteggono il woofer preservandolo da movimenti potenzialmente distruttivi, ma ne cambiano il comportamento di fase: il nuovo algoritmo BMC infrange questa regola.

Un nuovo punto di vista sulla linearità

I diffusori RCF sono stati progettati utilizzando una tecnologia digitale FIR molto evoluta, concepita per ottenere un suono trasparente, con la massima naturalezza e un'immagine audio perfetta.
Gli speciali algoritmi FiRPHASE permettono di ottenere una distribuzione uniforme del suono per tutti gli ascoltatori senza distorsioni di fase, garantendo la minima latenza al sistema audio.
