Hard Rock Cafe Dubrovnik Sets the Night Ablaze with RCF and TT+ Audio

Dubrovnik, Croatia – Hard Rock Cafe Dubrovnik, the first licensed Hard Rock® Cafe in Croatia, opened its doors to the public in April 2023 featuring an RCF audio system that provides stunning sound quality throughout the venue.

Dubrovnik is truly the crown jewel of Croatian tourism. Its stunning architecture, rich history, and breathtaking scenery make the town a labyrinth of narrow streets and ancient buildings that have withstood the test of time. Dubrovnik's massive city walls are proof of its resistance over the centuries. Dubrovnik’s popularity as a filming location for movies and TV shows, including the iconic Game of Thrones, has only added to its appeal, attracting visitors from around the world.

The cafe, located in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, is housed in the former monastery of the Clares, which has been transformed into a beautiful space that extends over 850 square meters and can accommodate more than 400 guests. In classic Hard Rock Café tradition, the interior is adorned with iconic rock memorabilia, such as guitars, costumes, and photographs of famous actors and musicians.

To ensure that the cafe's sound system met the strict requirements of the Hard Rock license, the cafe's AV integrator LAV Projekt carefully selected and installed a combination of RCF speakers. The main space inside the cafe is equipped with 23 RCF Compact M 06 loudspeakers from the RCF Business Music catalog. These speakers provide excellent sound coverage and are designed specifically for playing background music. The cafe's courtyard features RCF P 3108 waterproof speakers which are ideal for outdoor use.

For live music events, the cafe has two mobile audio systems relying on the TT+ Audio speaker line, the flagship brand from RCF. The smaller indoor stage is equipped with two RCF TT 515-A active sound boxes in combination with two RCF TT 808-AS active subwoofers. The larger outdoor stage is equipped with two RCF TT 22-A II active two-way high-output sound boxes with RCF TT 18-A II subwoofers.

Every audio zone in the cafe is interconnected by audio lines that pass through an Xilica Solaro FR1 modular processor. This processor allows the cafe's staff to easily redirect various sound sources to multiple zones. The cafe's bathrooms are equipped with RCF PL 8XB ceiling speakers.
